Hey there! I’m Risse, an interior designer and passionate about turning houses into dream homes. Whether you're starting from scratch, or looking to refresh the space you live in, I take pride in providing a service to my clients that will enhance their everyday life through beautiful and functional interior design.

My path to interior design wasn’t exactly straightforward, but I grew up with my dad owning a construction business. I remember loving going to model homes with him, and rearranging and repainting my bedroom was a monthly hobby.

I attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Technology in Los Angeles and after graduating, I moved back to New Jersey and worked as a Technical Designer for a brand in NYC. I loved figuring out fit problems - much like spatial planning!

After I met my husband while on vacation, I made a bold move to Australia, where he’s from. While there, my love for modern and coastal interiors really ignited as I found a career in wholesale bathroom ceramics. This lead me to enrolling in interior design school where I refined my skills in Photoshop, SketchUp, and spatial planning.

After 5 amazing years living abroad in Australia, we moved back to NJ in 2019. I worked with my dad in his construction business, helping design, stage, and sell their projects. This lead me to starting my own business — now working with my own dream clients on their dream homes! I currently live in Point Pleasant, NJ with my husband Dean, 2 kids, and our dog, Ozzy.
